Glen Check

글렌체크(Glen Check)는 김준원과 강혁준, 제이보 세 명의 멤버로 구성된 대한민국의 인디 밴드이다. 그들은 2011년 데뷔한 이후 일본의 Summer Sonic, 프랑스의 Nuits Sonores, 미국의 SXSW 등 국제 페스티벌뿐만 아니라 한국의 수많은 페스티벌에 모습을 보이면서 한국에서 가장 빠르게 성장하는 인디 밴드 중 하나가 되었다. 글렌체크만의 유니크한 음악 스타일은 특정 장르에 구애받지 않는 음악적 능력뿐 아니라, 앨범과 무대 디자인에 베어있는 비주얼 아트에서도 볼 수 있다. 이런 그들의 예술적 감각은 2013년과 2014년 한국 대중 음악 시상식에서 최우수 댄스 & 일렉트로닉 앨범을 수상하는 데 큰 기여를 했다. | Glen Check appeared in the music scene with their hit song '60's Cardin' 10 years ago. The cool attitude and passionate beats presented by the three young men, June One (vocal/ guitar), Hyuk Jun Kang (synthesizer/ bass) and Zayvo(synthesizer/guitar), provided many people with the atmosphere of the summer festival. Glen Check with a fresh synth-pop sound was recognized for their musical ability by winning the Best Dance Electronic Music Award at the Korean Music Awards for two years in a row. Since then, they have received steady love calls from music festivals in Korea and abroad (Japan-Summer Sonic, France-Nuits sonores, and USA-SXSW, etc.). Recently, Glen Check released their third full-length album 'Bleach' in nine years, announcing their return after a long break. Glen Check was praised for melting the essentials of various genres under the modern pop sentiment. <Bleach Your Mind>, the 3-day concert celebrating the return, was sold out in less than five minutes.
